Take a look around this forest. It's full of keltirs and wolves, isn't it? It wasn't always like this! Before, owls and cuckoos made their nests in every tree and bighorn deer leisurely grazed on the grass. You could see furry squirrels running around with fruit from the trees clenched between their teeth.
However, it is becoming more difficult to find those animals. This is all because the forest's balance was shattered by the war between the Humans and Elves!
To go to The Elven Ruins, you must first find the Obelisk of Victory which is on this road to the northeast. Once at the obelisk, the road forks into two -- take the one that goes to the east and you'll see the entrance to the ruins on the side of the mountain ridge.

It is a tower built by the Elves who lived on this island a long time ago. As I heard it, it was erected to celebrate victory in a battle between the Elves and Orcs 2,000 years ago. At the time, the Elves won the war because Humans joined the Elven forces.
You can reach the Obelisk of Victory by following this road to the northwest. As I've already told you, there are many orcs near the tower. You must be careful, because they travel in gangs. Fighter orcs are especially brutal beasts, and will recklessly hurl themselves at Humans. Of course, they are far inferior to those Orcs that fought the Elves of the past.

Sentinel Gartrandell:
The Sanctum of Eva is where young Elves come to learn swordsmanship and magic. Masters Cobendell and Ellenia teach Fighters how to use the sword and the bow. Sorcerer Esrandell and my sweetheart, Greenis, who is also a sorceress, teach the Mystics. Hierarch Asterios advises on changes of profession.
It is because of their efforts that the knowledge and experience collected by our ancestors for thousands of years are passed on to the next generation.

May the blessing of the starlight fall upon you. My name is Gartrandell, one of the sentinels who guard the forest and the Mother Tree Glade. I left the forefront because I was injured in the war with the Dark Elves, and now I guard the Sanctum of Eva.
The Sanctum of Eva is home to splendid Elven cultural relics, so I am proud of my job. I am also pleased that I can stay a little closer to my sweetheart.
Dion's army is not defending the village, therefore the villagers must defend themselves.
I am familiar with the plight of these farmers.
Back in the days of the peasant revolt I made a vow to never stand by while innocent people are oppressed by a hypocritical aristocrat!
I will fight alongside them!

Hello, young friend. I am Alex, the militia leader of Floran Village.
This is a village of poor farmers, who sought escape from the Lord's tyranny and, subsequently, does not have organized protection with proper guards. I formed the militia as I could not see the farmers fighting adequately against thieves and have other races plunder them helplessly.
Our captain is a bit gullible. He says we must stick to military discipline because we serve so near the lord s castle. I don t think someone as high as the lord would care about what one guard wears&
What do you think? Is there any need to lecture us about what we should wear? Don't they say substance is more valuable than appearance& Of course, everybody prefers it when things look nice and neat.
It is the castle where the lord of Gludio resides. Originally, it was a ruin left by the giants of ere, but wise King Cadmus ordered the castle to be built on the site to prepare against attack from Gracia.
A few years ago when Gracia last attacked our kingdom, the Gludio defense guards were newly formed. This castle was the stronghold and we fought a strong and victorious battle against the invaders. We praise his majesty for his keen foresight.

Welcome, young traveler. I am Captain Bathis, commander of the guards responsible for the security of this village and its vicinity. Do you see Castle Gludio across the bridge? When I look upon that magnificent castle where my Lord resides, I am struck with reverence and pride.
You must excuse me, young one, but may I offer a word of advice? What is it that you are wearing? Fashion is all very well, but& I do not think armor should be worn for style. Even if it's not exactly flattering, you really need something stronger! Tsk tsk... Young ones&
If you follow this road west, you will come to a fork in the road. If you turn to the southwest, you will pass the Abandoned Camp. Once, it was a camp for the Gracian armies, but it has been abandoned for some time and is now the camp for the ol mahums.
Those nasty ol mahums were hired by Gracia as mercenaries, but they were unable to return to their country and were left here to plunder for a living. So you must be extra careful when you're traveling near there, or you may be ambushed by ol mahum looters.
