Augmenting means give energy to weapons or accessories. Augmenting is simple, but it isn't always accurate. A few days ago, a mysterious ore called Life Stone, which has a very similar characteristic to Soul Crystals, was found in Black Anvil. If you bring this Life Stone and some other necessities, I will augment accessories and weapons for you. Life Stone used in augmenting is greatly influenced by its owner, so once augmented only the owner can use it. Also, any accessory or weapon higher than one's capability does not display the effect of augmenting. And one last thing. Accessory augmenting requires excellent materials. How about it? Want to augment stuff?
You wish to remove the refined Life Stone? That's fine. But understand that this smelting method offers both improvement and potential penalties.
It is difficult to restore the original weapon when removing the Life Stone. It requires a special chemical process and a special tool. It's also expensive.
With that in mind, would you still like to remove the Life Stone from the refined weapon?
Needless to say, in order to make a Dualsword, you first need two swords.
They can be either Regular weapons, Standard weapons or Rare weapons.
Regular weapons can only be combined with other Regular weapons, Standard weapons can only be combined with other Standard weapons, and Rare weapons can only be combined with other Rare weapons. Additionally, a Rare Dualsword can be made only using swords above B grade.
Since I must make a living, I do charge a small fee. And since a fire is needed and the cost of fuel is so high...
Hmm... As you probably know, it's extremely difficult to handle a Dualsword without training and coordination.
This is also why only the same grade swords can be combined.
I can combine swords up to grade C. If you want something better, you'd better go to a bigger city.
Remember as well that an Enchanted weapon loses its effect once it is combined with another. Don't forget!
Oh, one more thing. If you invest some kind of a skill in a weapon, it won't work. I'm afraid that it simply can't be combined with another.
Perhaps I've told you too much? I hope your head isn't swimming with all this information!
Now then, please select the type of sword you wish me to craft!

You may already know this, but our store is different from other stores in the region. We combine high-grade weapons to create Dualswords.
We are able to combine almost every type of sword. If we can't...well, then you should go to the capital or seek out the Blacksmith of Mammon. You never know... There might be a capable blacksmith hiding where you least expect him.
However, crafting Dualswords isn't only about skill and technology. The Merchant Guild controls how many Dualswords can be made in order to prevent a glut.
The number each territory is allowed to manufacture isn't large, so it's difficult to acquire a Dualsword Craft Stamp.
If you do happen to acquire a stamp, bring it to me with the swords you want combined. I promise I will make you a magnificent weapon!
The two swords to be combined into a Dualsword must be either Superior weapons, Common weapons or Masterwork weapons.
Superior weapons can be combined with other Superior weapons, Common weapons can be combined with other Common weapons, and Masterwork weapons can be combined with other Masterwork weapons. Even a Masterwork type must be above B-Grade.
Oh, another thing. If you invest some kind of a skill in a weapon, you can't combine it with another.
Ah! You wish to have a Dualsword made? That is our specialty! In fact, we can make every type of Dualsword except the A-grade!
If there's anyone better than us, it could only be the legendary Blacksmith of Mammon!
You don't have to bring me a stamp, either.
Just bring me the swords you want combined as well as Stones of Purity as a fee.
Make sure the swords are either Regular, Standard or Rare.
Regular weapons must be combined with other Regular weapons, Standard weapons must be combined with other Standard weapons, and Rare weapons must be combined with other Rare weapons. A Rare Dualsword can only be made using swords above grade B, which is the lowest grade we work with.
Our "Iron Gate" guild has came up with an amazing stuff after months of research. It's called "Wondrous Cubic". This item can make various types of "Cube Fragments".
However, this item can only be used once a day, which has made it somewhat difficult to collect the fragments. How about it? If you bring the cubic fragments to me, I will exchange them for various scrolls and items. If you don't have a Wondrous Cubic, go see Helvetia in Giran village. She will tell you how to get it.
Oh, and I heard that valuable jewels sometimes fall from the Wondrous Cubic occassionally! Of course, these rumors are just that, for now....
(The Wondrous Cubics can be used everyday from 6:30 am.)
A Shadow Weapon is a special weapon made in cooperation between the Ivory Tower and Black Anvil Guild following the signing of the Giran Treaty. The weapon magically projects its power onto another object and can only be used while this magical charge remains. Because of that, it can be purchased at a significantly lower price than the original weapon.
In the hands of a properly trained adventurer, however, it acts just like a real weapon. Its magic essentially uses the wielder's strength for its power, so unless the wielder has the appropriate level, the Shadow Weapon is worthless.
We don't sell the lowest level projectile weapons, so they became supplies for the Grand Masters; go ask them about it. The weapons sold in the shops have a higher level.
It looks to me that you don't have the necessary ability to wield one yet. Come back later after you've developed your skills some more.
(Projectile weapons can only be sold to level 40 or higher characters.)

Skill Enchanting allows you to strengthen certain skills that have reached their maximum level. You must be level 76 or above and have completed your 3rd class transfer in order to take advantage of this system.
To enchant your skills, simply speak to Agathion Pona. To do this, open your skills window and click on the Skill Enchanting button at the bottom.
Each skill enchant method has a unique success rate, so acquaint yourself with the pros and cons of each. If the skill enchant fails, both adena and SP will be consumed, yet the skill will remain at the same level it was at prior to the attempt. Oh, and don't forget, your success rate increases as your level increases.

There are several Skill Enchanting options at your disposal: General Skill Enchant, Blessed Skill Enchant, Skill Un-Enchanting and Skill Route Change.

General Skill Enchanting
<br1>
This method of enchanting requires 1 [Giant's Codex] and a certain amount of SP and adena to complete. If the enchant attempt fails, then the skill enchant level is returned to zero.

Blessed Skill Enchanting

This is a safer way to enchant a skill. This method requires 1 Giant's Codex: Mastery and 5 times the SP and adena of a general skill enchant. But, should you fail to enchant the skill, the value is not reset to zero. This option is good for higher level enchants.
This option refunds the user with some of the SP originally spent on the skill. This method requires 1 Giant's Codex: Oblivion, and takes the skill enchant down one level at a time. 80% of the original SP spent on the skill will be refunded to you. And if used when the skill is at level 1, the skill will be reset to zero.

Skill Route Change

This feature changes the type of enchant applied to the skill. In addition to the Giant's Codex: Discipline, the SP and adena required to change the route is 20% of the SP and adena needed for the next level of the enchant. When used, there is a chance that the enchant level may stay the same or may be reduced by 1-3 levels.

Ah, so you wish to enhance your weapon! Well, it's the next-best thing to buying a new one, I say... But remember, a higher price doesn't necessarily mean a better product. There are many excellent weapons that are reasonably priced.
As I'm sure you know, capabilities added to your weapon don't interfere with enchantments.
Oh, I must tell you, I can't handle A-Grade weapons. For those you'll need to find the legendary Blacksmith of Mammon, a giant among blacksmiths! He may be able to do it.
