The thing is, this area sometimes yields a rare item called Freed Soul Crystal. You can trade it with Special Product Broker Kirklan at the Keucereus Alliance Base -- it's known to be good stuff.
And as with all good stuff, it's hard to come by. Which is why we found a way to produce this using more common ingredients. Soldiers all over Gracia have been taught the method as well.
